Legal Associate

We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Generalist Legal Associate. This role is pivotal in supporting our client’s activities in mergers and acquisitions, fund management, private equity investments, and various legal matters. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of our client’s business strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist in handling mergers and acquisitions, funds, and private equity investments.
• Conduct legal research, draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Provide support in due diligence processes and transactional matters.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate deal negotiations and closings.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and legal standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
• Expectations will be higher for senior candidates.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputable institution; additional certifications or advanced degrees are a plus, with a min. of 3 years PQE.
• Prior experience in mergers and acquisitions, funds, or private equity transactions preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High level of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability and willingness to work in a fast-paced growth environment, with a willingness to work the hours during transactions period.
