We are looking for a Finance Director to lead a high-performing finance team in a fast-paced, dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will possess a proven ability to assess complex financial situations and provide crucial recommendations to drive the financial growth of the organization.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team and drive strategic financial plans and strategic decision-making, providing key financial recommendations, advisory support and insights
  • Ensure smooth operations by leading the accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation and treasury, as well as other financial operations processes to meet the organization’s KPIs (including subsidiary/JV companies)
  • Partner with department heads in the annual budgeting process to develop accurate budgets
  • Construct financial forecasts and analyze various business scenarios to assist in strategic planning and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with JV partners and subsidiaries to ensure the timely preparation of final consolidation reports
  • Optimize financial performance by conducting financial and variance analysis as well as providing suggestions on cost optimization
  • Explore process efficiency projects by championing automation and digitalization efforts across departments
  • Spearhead and oversee the performance and development of a driven finance team

 

Requirements:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar area
  • Proven experience with at least 8 years as a Senior Finance Manager at a fund/asset management or real estate firm
  • Strong experience in consolidation accounting
  • Able to synthesize detailed financial data and formulate relevant solutions
  • Well-rounded individual with proven leadership capabilities in managing a team
  • Effective in providing strategic direction and driven to ensure operational efficiency

Entering Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore to pursue Robotics

Interning at Citadel Search has been an incredibly fulfilling and eye-opening experience. As someone with a strong interest in programming and problem-solving, I gained industry exposure and tackled real datasets to optimize workflows, applying both technical and analytical skills to practical use. 

Beyond picking up new programming languages, I learned best practices in software development, documentation, and workflow automation. Being entrusted with projects helped me grow more adaptable and resourceful and boosted my confidence as a developer.

Working in an agile team gave me a unique level of freedom and ownership over my work. I really appreciate how I could contribute directly and see the results of my efforts. This hands-on environment accelerated my learning and made each project feel very meaningful.

I am extremely thankful to Cindy and Raymond for providing this opportunity and creating a safe and supportive environment for me to experiment, ask questions and voice my opinions. As an intern, I felt valued and supported under their care.

Thinking back to the simulation test during my interview, I’m proud of how far I’ve come since my first day, especially in the way I think analytically and tackle problems with a clearer approach. The skills and experience I gained here have given me a solid foundation as I take my next steps into robotics.
