Senior Site Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Engineer who will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction activities within assigned work areas. In this role, you will plan, implement, and monitor site works in accordance with approved programs, drawings, and specifications, while ensuring technical accuracy, quality standards, safety requirements, and coordination with engineers, consultants, and subcontractors throughout the construction phase.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and supervise daily construction activities and site progress within assigned scopes of work
- Plan, implement, and monitor site works, scheduling in accordance with the approved master and detailed work programs
- Liaise with Professional Engineer, consultants, and Qualified Persons (QPs) on technical and engineering issues
- Coordinate site activities with subcontractors
- Provide guidance and direction to site supervisors to ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, methods, and schedules
- Maintain required quality standards through regular site inspections and monitoring of workmanship
- Ensure technical issues are addressed promptly and resolved
- Prepare construction reports, method statements, and relevant documentation when required
- Manage and control workers on site, monitoring their activities closely to maintain a safe, orderly, and neat working environment
- Supervise ongoing site activities closely to ensure compliance with project requirements, instructions, and site procedures
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry, prior experience working on LTA projects preferred
- Hands-on experience in managing diaphragm wall works, bored piling, and tunnelling projects
- Willing to work a 6-day work week (Mon-Sat, 7.30am-6:00pm)
