Senior Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager who will be responsible for the successful execution and delivery of hyperscale data center projects. This is a customer site-based role where you will oversee end-to-end project delivery for Digital Infrastructure (Buildings and Power Management), with a strong emphasis on BMS systems, ensuring all activities are completed on time, within scope, and to high quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the operational delivery of hyperscale data center projects, with full accountability for scope, timeline, quality, and budget.
• Evaluate technical specifications and provide responses to customer-submitted technical queries and comments.
• Monitor and control project progress using tracking tools (e.g. Smartsheet), proactively mitigating risks and preventing delays.
• Manage project risks, opportunities, and financial performance, minimising project margin deviations and providing transparency for estimates of margin on a regular basis.
• Oversee variation order and claim processes and mitigate conflicting timelines and risks.
• Directly manage on-site activities, working closely with contractors and end-users; ensure high standards of execution and customer satisfaction.
• Drive communication with customers, project sponsors, project management teams and internal engineering teams via project reviews and updates, meetings, and reports.
• Manage and motivate field project engineers on-site; boost morale and bridge any team performance gaps.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering field.
• Possess a minimum 7 years of project management experience in BMS, HVAC, or Industrial Automation.
• Proven experience managing hyperscale data center projects.
• Experience leading teams with strong people management and leadership capabilities.
• PMI PMP certification or equivalent would be ideal.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle tough stakeholders in a high-pressure environment.
