Quantity Surveyor

We are hiring a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, subcontractor tender documentation, and overall coordination on an active construction project.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute all aspects of quantity surveying according to professional standards and best practices in accordance with company policy.
• Carry out detailed quantity measurements for construction activities ensuring cost efficiency measures.
• Source supplier and subcontractor quotations and perform cost analysis for selection.
• Review and verify subcontractor claims, progress billings, and variation submissions according to PSSCOC contracts in and the governing Security of Payments Act.
• Draft formal correspondence to subcontractors in coordination with contract administration.
• Manage internal approval workflows and documentation through the ERP platform.
• Maintain tracking systems for subcontractor payments, bonds, and other contractual records.
• Work closely with project teams on-site to resolve subcontractor-related matters including disputes.
• Support engineering tasks and assist with other technical duties on-site as required.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Min. 3 years relevant QS experience in the construction industry.
• Competent in using AutoCAD for 2D and 3D drawings.
• Strong drive in cost management efficiencies, provide cost improvement ideas whilst balancing risks management.
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders.
• Available to work 5 day workweek (8am-6pm) and once a month on a Sat for a full-day.
