QA/QC Engineer (LTA)

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to support quality management function for a large scale infrastructure project. You will focus on ensuring that site activities meet contractual, regulatory and technical standards through systematic inspections, documentation control and coordination with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement site quality control procedures and perform daily inspections to verify compliance with approved plans, method statements, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare, update, and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), inspection checklists, and quality documentation for construction, installation, and production works.
- Conduct routine quality inspections for materials and workmanship, including concrete, reinforcement, welding, finishing works, and dimensional tolerance checks.
- Apply appropriate quality control methods, including Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques where required and ensure proper documentation of test results.
- Coordinate material submissions, review supplier documentation, and support material approval processes in accordance with project specifications.
- Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up with relevant parties on corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist manager in preparation of quality records, inspection reports, test results, and audit documentation for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and site teams to schedule inspections, material deliveries, and quality verification activities.
- Support internal quality audits by organising required documents and assisting in responses to audit findings.
- Participate in site coordination meetings to provide updates on inspection status and outstanding quality matters.
Requirements:
- 2 years’ relevant experience, preferably with LTA/MRT projects.
- Holds a degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering
- Strong understanding of construction materials and methods.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- 6 Days work week, 8am to 6pm
