HR Director

As an HR Director, you will oversee our client organisation’s operations in South East Asia. We are looking for a strategic leader who will play a pivotal role in shaping regional HR strategy, driving HR operations and improve employee engagement and facilitating smooth transitions during mergers and acquisitions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing HR team based across Singapore and SEA countries
  • Partner with labour unions to drive positive change and ensure workforce satisfaction and work with country HR to ensure HR issues are addressed
  • Ensure smooth transitions during mergers and acquisitions, managing all HR aspects of the process
  • Design and execute key HR strategies in line with business goals, including Employment Engagement Programs, Career Development & Learning Programs and strategies to benefit workforce performance
  • Work with senior leaders, influencing leaders to drive change management, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar field
  • At least 10 years of experience in HR leadership, in the service industry and familiar with working with a large blue-collar workforce
  • Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia when required
  • Possess strong understanding of Singapore, regional HR employment laws
  • Familiarity with managing labour unions and mergers & acquisitions would be an advantage
  • Strong team leader with excellent HR leadership skills to drive HR strategy and tactics to achieve business outcomes
  • Commitment to drive employee engagements through talent development and staff retention
  • Influence and provide leadership through empowering people
