Head of Operations (Taiwan)

As the Head of Operations, you will oversee manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with US FDA, European EMA, and Taiwan FDA regulations. In view of growth of the organisation, you will plan and oversee the growth trajectory of the plant and direct all site and supporting functions in this Taiwan site.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead management teams to ensure the production of pharmaceutical products aligns with all regulatory requirements and company policies, fostering collaboration with support groups to drive operational success.
• Set the strategic direction for current and future facilities, focusing on product and process improvements, including oversight of new product development and launch planning as a turnkey production facility.
•  Develop and implement manufacturing policies and strategies to ensure compliance with global policies, guidelines, and SOPs.
•  Co-lead the Quality Council and other cross-functional teams to investigate problems and enhance product quality, ensuring customer commitments are met.
• Develop operating budgets aligned with short- and long-term site master plans, focusing on labor and capital expenditures as the site collaborates with clients.
• Ensure accurate costing of goods and margins to minimize costs while meeting regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing with at least 4 years in contract manufacturing.
• Possess at least 3 years of site management experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
• Proficient in both English and Mandarin as the key customers are in US, Europe and mainland China and Taiwan.
• Willingness to be based in Taiwan
